Spain ski resorts

Most ski resorts in Spain are in the north, in the Pyrenees. These northern Spanish ski resorts are in the regions of Aragon and Catalunya, on the border with France. Popular ski resorts in the Pyrenees of Spain are Formigal, Candanchú, Cerler, La Molina and Baqueira - Beret. All of them ski resorts with a nice range of slopes, where both beginners and advanced skiers can have fun. Some of the slopes are above 2000 metres, so the snow levels are often good too.

Sierra Nevada is a mountain range in southern Spain, in the province of Andalusia. Sierra Nevada means 'snow-capped mountains' and for good reason. The ski resort's peaks reach above 3,000 metres and there is never a shortage of snow. Everything that makes a winter sport so beautiful can be found in Sierra Nevada, beautiful slopes, good facilities and après-ski. Compared to ski resorts in the north of Spain, Sierra Nevada is a bit more expensive and crowded.
